The surgeons at Spivack Vision Center are among the most experienced and well-trained in the entire country. Together they have performed thousands of surgical and laser vision correction procedures. All of our surgeons are board-certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. They have taught courses to other doctors at major national and international meetings of ophthalmologists. Our vision correction surgeons are fellowship-trained, having completed extensive training as eye surgery specialists.
Dr. Spivack performed the first FDA approved LASIK procedure in the state of Colorado. He was named one of the top performing refractive surgeons of 1997 and 1998, receiving the VISX Star Award at the annual American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. 5280 Magazine and KCNC-TV Channel 4 have both consistently named Dr. Spivack one of the best LASIK surgeons in the Denver metro area. Dr. Spivack was designated by VISX and Autonomous as a nationally certified trainer, to train other surgeons in laser procedures.
