Dr. Wang, eye physician, and surgeon at Spivack Vision Center and Omni Eye Specialists received his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University. He obtained his medical training and a medical degree from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine. He obtained his residency training in ophthalmology at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago. After residency, he sought subspecialty training in Cornea Transplantation and LASIK Refractive Surgery by completing a fellowship program at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
Dr. Wang has contributed to the field of corneal disease and refractive surgery with scientific publications in the medical literature and presented work at a national ophthalmic meeting for which Dr. Wang garnered “Best Paper of Session” distinction. During medical school and residency, he participated in research involving retinal pigment epithelial transplantation and corneal epithelial stem cell survival.
